We are very happy to share information on two events that form part of a global grassroots rejection of authoritarian, kleptocratic and fascistic regimes.
BRISTOL EVENT:

What’s your beef? Stop Trump and defend democracy
On Saturday, March 28, 2026, the grassroots group Americans for Action (‘AfA’) and Indivisible SW UK will jointly hold a peaceful demonstration in Castle Park, Bristol to protest Donald Trump and his regime’s attempts to dismantle the US government and destabilise democracy worldwide. Simultaneous ‘No Tyrants’ actions will take place across the UK and Europe in solidarity with the #NoKings Day protests taking place in over 2,200 cities in the USA on the same day.
On June 14, 2025, more than five million people across all 50 US states joined #NoKings in the largest single-day protest against Trump’s authoritarianism—until the second #NoKings day in October 2025 saw over seven million people attend.
The upcoming March 28 day of action is the next step in this ever-growing movement, channelling that energy into yet another coordinated, peaceful mobilisation on a massive scale. People in Bristol, both American and British, have had enough of Trump’s administration trampling civic rights, international treaties, and the US Constitution.
Noted artist Valerie Hoh, one of the founding members of AfA Bristol, is bringing a large blue cow into Castle Park to ask attendees to answer the question: ‘What’s your beef?’ As a wannabe king, Trump is abusing his powerful position to start war, earn billions, send the US military into cities to kill people, and kidnap immigrants, children, citizens, and even the President of Venezuela. We will be inviting attendees to post their core concerns about the fascist regime in the USA onto the cow installation.
And a blue wave is forming for November! The Democratic Party, represented by the colour blue, has been victorious in a majority of the special elections in the USA since last year. This is a clear sign that Americans can retake Congress in November by electing more Democrats to put a stop to Trump’s illegal war(s) and fascist policies.
All attendees to Bristol’s No Tyrants Day are invited to wear blue clothing (blue jeans, blue tops, blue hats) to represent the blue wave that’s coming in the USA midterm elections in November. AfA will have voter registration materials for any American voters.
Many local Bristolians, Americans, and British allies plan to attend this action.

A core principle behind all No Kings (No Tyrants) events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events.
