There were 12 Apostles.
There are 12 days of Christmas.
There were 12 knights of the round table
There are 12 members in a jury.
There are 12 months in a year.
There are 12 numbers on a clock.
There are 12 pairs of ribs in a human being.
There were 12 pence in a shilling.
There are 12 eggs in a dozen.
There are 12 cranial nerves in the human body.
There are 12 stars on the EU flag.
We are also in year 12 of this Conservative Government.
After 12 years we are hearing daily from ministers of things that need to be fixed, including immigration, the NHS waiting list, the shortage of doctors, nurses and police officers, the care system, energy et al.
Add farming, fishing and small businesses cut off from the EU.
All of the above are things that they broke!
How long do you need to be in government before you admit blame for shortcomings?
At last the BBC is bringing up Brexit as a mistake. The Chancellor (who broke the NHS in a previous job) now says that Brexit has a cost…Wow, really?!
So, every morning, the first question to whichever reluctant minister who has been shoved onto tv should begin with
‘You have been in power for 12 years, why do we have this problem with…?”
Most folk now agree that 12 years is long enough.
Admit it, call a general election and give someone else, or indeed anyone else, a chance.
